About MeAberdeen born, Betty Clunas (1929-2012) served as the Chair of the Friends of Aberdeen Art Gallery & Museums. She had a fondness for design between 1890 and 1940. She bought vintage clothing she could wear to special occasions or to a party, though she did not always wear them straight away, keeping them until an appropriate event came along. During her lifetime, Betty Clunas passed the dress to her daughter, who wore it to a black-tie event at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London in 1984.
