About MeThis linen cross stitch sampler was made by Mary Walker aged 10 years at the Episcopal School in Forgue, Aberdeenshire in 1859.
The upper section comprises alphabets, numerals and family initials interspersed with bands of various stitch patterns.
There is a religious text in the centre: What think ye of Christ?
The lower section comprises a band of leaves above flower and bird motifs and a carnation on the lower left and lower right. corners.
