The upper section comprises upper and lower case alphabets divided by narrow borders in a variety of designs.
The lower section comprises family initials and there are cups of tea or tankards of beer sewn on the centre right.
More About Me
Samplers were initially used to record and reference different stitch types, only later were they utilised as a way of learning how to sew.
