Fragment of quarter of upper. Lasting margin with grain to flesh stitching channel, stitch length 3mm. on vertical and diagonal sides of fragment. Oversewn top edge. Very faint trace of stitching for heel stiffener. Exceedingly worn, torn and cracked. Height of quarters- c. 188-235mm, width of fragment = c. 237-280mm, thickness = 1mm. Position of edge flesh stitching channel indicate that quarter was seperate from vamp.
