Front of upper comprising part of quarters, leg and vamp throat. Edge-flesh stitching channel stitch length approximately 4mm at vamp throat and on vertical and diagonal edges of quarters leg. Top edge of quarters cut, no sign of stitching. Short length of vertical thong, approximately 80 x 5mm, threaded through three short strips of thong on grain side through bottom stretch of vertical thong. Also, single thong hole 3mm diameter near top edge. Short 8mm long slit near vamp throat which has been stitched with edge-flesh stitching channel. Probably part of one-piece upper with wrap-around horizontal thong held in place with a vertical thong. Very worn
