About MeThis stoneware lidded jar is decorated with a copper deep red glaze.

Rupert Spira trained with Michael Cardew at Wenford Bridge before setting up his first pottery in Hampshire. In 1996 he established a new pottery in Shropshire and gained a reputation for throwing elegant, restrained, stoneware pieces decorated with oriental glazes.
