About MeSmall porcelain bottle vase glazed all over in a pale blue-green celadon glaze which pools towards the foot to create a darker, almost turquoise colour, band. Celadon is a type of glaze which originated in China and spread to other parts of East Asia. Iron oxide is added to create shades of pale green and blue and with the addition of a greater amount of iron oxide, in colours as dark as olive green and black.
