About MeThis linen cross stitch sampler was sewn by Mary Morison in 1889.
The upper section comprises alphabets, numerals and family initials interspersed with bands of various stitch patterns.
The lower section comprises various moifs including parental initials, a crown, peacocks, dogs, rabbits and trees.
There is a strawberry border around the edges of the sampler.
