About MeCarte de visite of a seated woman her hair is styled neatly in plaits on the top of her head and she has a middle parting. She is siting on a plush chair with both hands holding a book. She is wearing earrings and a wedding ring can also be seen on her left hand. Her dress has wide flared sleeves with a lace trim and ribbons on the cuffs. The collar is worn high with white lace trim and a brooch. On the reverse the photographer's details appear in full. Contemporaries of GWW; part of larger GWW archive.
