About MeCarte de visite of a young girl standing on a plush chair and leaning on the back of the chair. Her hair is brushed back neatly with a headband; her dress is dark with a white collar cuff and there are some tassels towards the bottom of the dress. Her legs are crossed over one another and she has dark stockings and boots on. Both of her hands are clasped in front of her. A hanging curtain is visible on the right hand side. On the reverse the photographer's details appear in full in gold and the edges of the frame are also in gold. Contemporary of GWW; part of larger GWW archive.
