About MePorcelain jug narrowing from base to a short neck and pouring lip. The walls of the jug are quite thick with distinct potting rings visible inside.

The entire jug is glazed in a very pale pearl blue, almost white, celadon glaze. Celadon is a type of glaze which originated in China and spread to other parts of East Asia. Iron oxide is added to create shades of pale green and blue and with the addition of a greater amount of iron oxide, in colours as dark as olive green and black.
