About MeThis linen cross stitch sampler was made by Elizabeth Duguid in Collyhill in Aberdeenshire in the 19th century.

The upper section comprises upper and lower case alphabets, numerals and family initials interspersed with bands of various stitch patterns.

The parental initials AD and CD appear in the centre with a heart between them.

The lower section comprises various motifs including a house, apple trees, flowers and a dog.
