About MeCarte de visite of a woman standing next to a wall against a country-side and river backdrop. Her dress has a vertical striped pattern with a belt, white collar and brooch. Her hair is neatly styled in a middle parting. Her headband has long ribbons which hang down past her waist. Her right hand is resting on the balustrade and she is holding a handkerchief. In her left she is holding a decorated straw hat. On the reverse the photographer's details appear in full.
