''To professional charges in connection with the monies due to Mr. McBey from P. & D. Colnaghi & Co. Ltd. amounting to something over 4,000., including attendances upon and correspondence with Mr. Paton and with the Company, and correspondence with Mr. McBey (certain letters to Mr. Paton in triplicate) and eventually, after considerable negotiation, Mr. McBey agreed to accept the handing over of 566 Etchings together with a half share of 43 Etchings held by Mr. Sessler of Philadelphia in settlement of his claim, perusing agreement originally entered into between Mr. McBey and the Company, attending Messirs Colnaghi & Co. on their calling in very long attendance taking over 553 of the etchings in part performance, and checking same, writing the company recording the position, forwarding copies of the correspondence to Mr. Paton, and arranging that the company should deal direct with Mr. Sessler regarding the transfer of their one half share in the 43 Etchings held by him, and obtaining an undertaking accordingly and later collecting a cheque for £21 representing the sale price of 3 drawings and forwarding the same to Mr. Paton.
