About MeCopy of letter by H.W.J. Paton to Graham Smith, dated 14th May, 1941.

Extracts from the letter:

''As you say, I do not think there is need for either of us to write to Mr. McBey at this particular juncture, and also like you, I feel that in all the circumstances Mr. McBey should very seriously consider accepting the proposition outlined in your letter. I hope too that his reply will come soon as after Saturday's experience the sooner these etchings are out of London at least the better.
I shall just leave the matter there meantime and much appreciate all the trouble and care you have given to this matter which must be a very important one from Mr. McBey's point of view.''

Typed on one side of blue paper.
