About MeSmall porcelain footed bowl with dark brown tenmoku glazed interior becoming rust in colour around the bowl's rim.

The outside is glazed in banded shades of greeny-blue and grey celadon with a resist irregular pattern revealing brown glaze beneath.

Chris Keenan frequently works with a combination of celadon and tenmoku glazes, employing their contrasting coloours to enhance the shape .

Celadon is a type of glaze which originated in China. It is frequently found in shades of pale green, however colours can range from pale pearl blue to dark olive green depending on the quantity of iron oxide added to the glaze before it is fired.

Tenmoku glaze is generally treacle-brown or lustrous black in colour.
