About MePorcelain small bottle vase with broad shoulders and long cylindrical neck which slightly flares out towards the rim.

It is glazed all over in a pale blue celadon glaze which is thinly applied around the shoulder emphasising the shape.

Celadon is a type of glaze which originated in China and spread to other parts of East Asia. Iron oxide is added to create shades of pale green and blue and with the addition of a greater amount of iron oxide, in colours as dark as olive green and black.
