About MeThis porcelain beaker was wheel-thrown and then cut by hand to create facetted sides which are textured with fine lines achieved by using a toothed blade or thin cutting wire. The potter has also cut away channels at the base to form the 4 feet on which the beaker stands. It is glazed all over in a very pale green celadon glaze, becoming almost white at the rim, feet and over the facetted edges, highlighting these and giving the beaker a textured appearance.
