About MeArms of Aberdeen at top centre; handsigned with date and serial number also entered by hand. The note has a piece missing on the right-hand side but retains its counterfoil on the left-hand side.

The successful Banking Company in Aberdeen issued a new series of one-pound notes in 1810. These were similar in style to previous issues.

Now into its fourth decade of business the Banking Company in Aberdeen was still a prosperous organisation. In 1810, in addition to its Aberdeen headquarters it had branches in Banff, Elgin, Forres, Huntly, Keith and Peterhead.
