About MeThis petticoat was worn with a two-piece wedding dress. It was worn by Alice Annand Murray, from Longside near Peterhead, on her marriage to Donald MacKenzie from Lewis. As was often the tradition, the dress and petticoat were passed down to their daughter Alice Murray MacKenzie Swaim who wore it at her wedding in Pittsburg, America, in 1932.1770s, 1880s
