About MeCarte de visite of a man standing next to an ornate table with books on it. There is a curtain visible on the right hand side. His right hand is resting on the table on top of a pile of papers and his left arm is resting above his hip. He is wearing a white collared shirt with a black buttoned waistcoat, matching jacket and trousers and his shoes are highly polished. His hair is styled neatly and he has a full beard.
