About MeThis linen cross stitch and eyelet stitch sampler was made by Elespet Forbes aged 15 years in the 1820s-1830s.

The upper section comprises alphabets, numerals and family initials interspersed with bands of various stitch patterns.

The lower section comprises various motifs including a stag, bird, tree, ship and flower.
