About MeSidney Tustin was recruited aged 13 years in the summer of 1927 by Michael Cardew to work at Winchcombe Pottery. He worked there for fifty-one years and made over a million pots before he retired in 1978.

The scrolling slip-trailing decoration on this jug is a common Sidney Tustin design.
