About MeThis stoneware vase has a collared rim. It is glazed in a reddish-brown kaki glaze which derives its colour from the significant amounts of iron oxide in the glaze recipe.
It is decorated with an abstract leaf motif on both front and back using wax resist which reveals a white slip beneath the kaki glaze.
