About MePorcelain small flared bowl which is glazed all over in a pale blue celadon glaze. The outside is plain, whilst the inside is decorated with a broad band of lightly incised stylised leaf pattern beneath the celadon glaze.
After a career teaching, Derek Emms became a full time potter in his retirement and was well known for his finely thrown domestic wares with a characteristic decoration of celadon glaze over incised patterns.
