About MeThis mug flares gently towards the rolled rim. It has a simple strap handle with prominent terminal where the potter has fixed the handle to the main body. The mug was first glazed in white and black slip (liquid clay) and then glazed in an orange honey glaze, with an abstract striped pattern combed through.Between 1981 and 2006 Michael Eden made functional slipware at Eden Pottery in Cumbria which he operated with his wife Victoria. Since 2007 he has used digital manufacturing to create sculptural works of art.
