About MeThis large slim jug is made from Fremington clay, a clay local to Clive Bowen's North Devon Pottery, from which he makes most of his work. He makes a wide selection of useful pieces for the storage, preparation, cooking and serving of food and drink, ranging from giant store jars to everyday dishes, jugs and mugs.

The jug is glazed all over in speckled deep yellow ochre and amber slips (liquid clay). It is decorated with free flowing abstract splashes of green slip and iron brown glazes applied around the body and zig zag bands of combed dark brown and yellow glazes around the foot.
