About MeThis model was part of a subscription box that Tim enjoyed during lockdown. "Model painting has been good for my mental health, it allows me an element of Zen as I focus on the process and let other worries take a back seat to the low-risk brush strokes. A big part of my mental health struggles is connected to how I evaluate myself. I get a sense of fulfilment from watching the layers of paints and shades slowly build up and bring out a model’s details. I still occasionally struggle to finish models, as I do other things in life, but painting and showing my work through social media helps me manage anxiety around my self-worth and critique; at least to the point that I can say that a project is done."
