About MeThis cylindrical jar and cover are made from Fremington clay, a clay local to Clive Bowen's North Devon Pottery, from which he makes most of his work. He makes a wide selection of useful pieces for the storage, preparation, cooking and serving of food and drink, ranging from giant store jars to everyday dishes, jugs and mugs.

Both jar and cover are glazed in a mottled brown and honey gold glaze with a brown glazed interior. The jar is decorated with a pattern of dark brown chevrons with banding around the foot. The cover is decorated with a spiral of brown on the flat top and a series of dashes around the edge.
