About MeThis large kitchen bowl with a single pouring lip is made from Fremington clay, which is local to Clive Bowen's Devon pottery. Bowen makes a large range of domestic wares from this clay including storage jars, jugs and dishes for preparing, cooking and serving food.
He has used local slips (liquid clays) in a restrained palette of yellow, green and brown to decorate the bowl.
The rim is decorated with combed lines of brown and a wavy band of pale green slip
